The Hive Fund for Climate and Gender Justice is an intersectional effort to uplift, fund and support Black women, Indigenous women, women of color, and those folks working on frontline of climate, gender and racial justice. And they are just getting started! For this project, we worked with their team to name and brand their new grant-making organization. The Hive Fund is creating growth opportunities for so many across the U.S. All work created while leading creative team in a previous role.
The logo features a honeycomb with filled and open spaces representing the community that is growing, uplifting and depending on each other. The clean, geometric rhythm is meant to capture the capable, steady progress the Hive Fund is helping to generate. The colors create a bright and bold presence not to be ignored. The grantees of the Hive Fund, often women of color - who have been under resourced, are the strongest leaders we have in tackling the causes of and impacts from climate change.
